ON THE ISSUES

Lowering Property Taxes

Blaise’s commitment to lowering or eliminating property taxes is undeniable. From working with Marco Rubio in demanding property tax relief in the mid-2000s to currently working with Governor Ron DeSantis to eliminate taxes on homestead properties, few, if any, elected officials have been this consistent on property tax reform.

Blaise has also fought to eliminate additional property assessments for those who harden their homes against dangerous storms.

And it’s not just property taxes…as a State Senator, Blaise also authored legislation that provided over $2 billion in tax cuts while proposing the largest tax cut in the state’s history at the time.

Here’s the bottom line – Blaise is always trying to help Floridians keep more of their own money.

Beyond legislative reform, Blaise knows the best way to truly lower property taxes for Floridians is to cut out the enormous waste, fraud, and abuse at the local government level. These politicians and bureaucrats waste tens, if not hundreds of millions, of your hard earned tax dollars.

It ends under CFO Ingoglia’s watch.

Blaise is traveling the state auditing local governments, big and small, Republican and Democrat; our CFO doesn’t discriminate when it comes to rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.

These audits prove what we’ve all known for far too long—local governments are being less than truthful to us. They can cut taxes while still prioritizing public safety, infrastructure, and education—they just don’t want to.

For 20 years Blaise has never changed his tone, and he has never given up the fight. His record of taking career politicians to task to save your tax dollars is beyond dispute, and he is only building upon his record as our CFO

Tackling Waste, Fraud, and Abuse

Housing and Property Insurance Affordability

Blaise Ingoglia is making a name for himself by taking on bad actors in the insurance industry: He was instrumental in passing landmark lawsuit reform to cut down on frivolous lawsuits and going after bad actors who take advantage of laws to line their pockets.

Before this reform, Florida had 8% of all the claims filed in the U.S., but 68% of all the lawsuits filed in the U.S. This drove up property insurance rates substantially. Blaise helped put an end to people gaming the system, and rates have already started to stabilize and go down as a result of these reforms—but there is still work to be done.

So far as CFO, Blaise has helped to levy millions of dollars in fines to insurance companies for not doing what they are supposed to be doing, protecting homeowners. His message is clear – Blaise will protect Floridians, not the profits of insurance companies and trial attorneys.

Millions of people move to Florida every year because we are the state of freedom and opportunity. It’s up to us to make sure they don’t import the destructive policies of states like New York and California that caused them to flee in the first place.

That’s why Blaise earned a reputation as one of the most conservative members of the Florida Legislature, stopping bad liberal ideas right in their tracks.

He authored the largest deregulation bill in Florida history, which earned praise from the WSJ as a model for other states to follow.

Blaise has authored and passed legislation to stop DEI training in schools and sponsored a bill to stop the unconstitutional censorship of conservatives on social media. While still in the Florida House, Blaise bucked legislative leadership and fought to give Florida four additional Republican seats in Congress—a decision that was key to giving President Trump a conservative majority in the House of Representatives.

Blaise has always been a fierce defender of the DeSantis–Trump Agenda and will continue working alongside our governor and our President to protect the conservative values that make Florida exceptional.

DEI – Deport Every Illegal

For years, Blaise has been the go-to voice in the legislature to stop illegal immigration. This commitment to law and order is exemplified by SB 1718, which Blaise sponsored to stop giving IDs and driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants, mandate the use of E-Verify, and increase fines and penalties for employers who hire illegal aliens. Blaise also led the effort to prohibit an illegal alien from wiring money to another country to pay drug cartels.

When Governor DeSantis needed help in the Florida Legislature to crack down on illegal immigration, Blaise Ingoglia received the call.

Blaise’s message to illegal immigrants has been even clearer – you can go home, or you can go to Alligator Alcatraz, the choice is yours.

Blaise was an integral part of the MAGA movement since the beginning. As the Chairman of the Republican Party in 2016 he helped Team Trump win the State of Florida. In fact, he was the first politico to famously predict President Trumps historic win on the Lou Dobbs Show on FOX Business.

When it comes to backing the Trump agenda, Blaise walks the walk. Not only did he help Trump win in 2016, but Blaise was also an official spokesman for the 2020 campaign and an official campaign surrogate in 2024.

Floridians can trust Blaise Ingoglia to advance and defend the MAGA movement in the Sunshine State.

Long Time MAGA Supporter

One Person, One Vote. No Exceptions.

For years, Blaise Ingoglia has been fighting to stop voter fraud. As a past Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, he knows firsthand the importance of securing our elections.

Blaise authored and passed into law the landmark voter security law SB 90, which prohibited ballot harvesting, prevented ‘Zuckerbucks’ from influencing elections, removed fraud-prone drop boxes, provided greater oversight of the voter rolls, and added stricter oversight to vote-by-mail procedures.

In short, Blaise along with Governor DeSantis, made it easier to vote and harder to cheat.

Ingoglia also took on Big Tech by sponsoring legislation that prevented social media platforms from censoring political candidates. Blaise believes in the sacred right of “one person, one vote,” and will fight to protect it.

The Second Amendment Right to bear arms is a cornerstone of our republic, and it’s under attack by both Democrats and Republicans like never before. That’s why Blaise is standing in the way of those who want to impose tyrannical regulations on our guns.

In 2018, Blaise stood with gun owners and voted against the largest gun control measure in Florida’s history, thereby solidifying his legacy as one of the most pro-2A legislators in the legislature.

In 2025, Blaise sponsored and drove the passage of SB 952, legislation that struck down unconstitutional restrictions on the sale, display, and possession of firearms and ammunition during a declared state of emergency. Ingoglia made it clear that no crisis, no matter how severe, should be used as a pretext to strip citizens of their ability to defend themselves and their families.

Blaise also filed SB 562 to ban the use of AI systems to detect firearms in public spaces, warning that such technology represents a dangerous fusion of surveillance and control, directly undermining both the Second and Fourth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.

Whether looking ahead or responding to outrageous threats by the left, Blaise is fighting to keep the government away from our guns.

Standing With Our Heroes

Blaise Ingoglia has always backed Florida’s First Responders, understanding that police, sheriff deputies, firefighters, EMTs, and other emergency personnel are critical to public safety.

Suicide has become an epidemic among our First Responders. Blaise tackled this tragedy head-on by helping to pass laws to expand workers’ comp coverage for First Responders suffering with PTSD. He also advanced legislation to provide cancer presumption coverage for firefighters, as the fires of today are much more harmful due to chemicals than the fires of previous decades.

Blaise also passed laws stopping the demonizing of law enforcement by the radical “defund the police” crowd.

Now, as CFO, he now oversees the State Fire Marshal’s Office, giving him direct authority to support these heroes through equipment upgrades, training programs, and funding for emergency response.

Ingoglia has made it clear: he won’t tolerate attacks on first responders, and he will always fight to ensure they have the tools and respect they need to serve Florida’s communities.

As a State Senator, Blaise Ingoglia was among the first legislators to oppose building hotels and golf courses in our state parks. He also singlehandedly stopped a proposed bill that would have allowed overdevelopment of our agricultural lands.

Blaise understands that Florida is special because of its waterways, beaches, forests, and beautiful state parks. As your CFO, Blaise understands that Florida is unlike any other state in the nation and will fight to keep it that way.
